SOFLO was started by three friends from Fort Myers, FL. Best-friends Ricky and Colin were shark fishing at their favorite spot when a truck pulled up. The truck window rolled down and a man yelled, "Y'all mind if we share the spot?" To which Ricky replied, "Not as long as we share the catch." After a night of memorable fishing Ricky and Colin stayed in contact with their new friend Isaac, and the three guys are still close friends to this day. Ricky's love for sharks and fishing inspired him to start SOFLO where he can spread the excitement that both fishing and land-based shark fishing brings to all, and his friends where both huge supporters of his project. Ricky still runs a majority of the SOFLO charters to this day.
